Service authorisation
The existing MI-STAR website publishes requirements for authorising MOBIAK S.A. fire extinguisher service providers. Legal entities, sole traders and qualified in-house services can apply. The published document provides for five-year authorisations, subject to requirements and supervision. Contact mistar@mistar.hr for the current procedure and documentation.
Premises and equipment
Appropriate working and storage premises are required, including areas for powder and waste powder. Equipment includes general and specialist tools, sealing pliers, torque wrenches, calibrated scales, filling and emptying equipment, CO₂ transfer equipment, hydraulic testing equipment, and safety-valve and moisture testing tools. The original document specifies the precise requirements and accuracy classes.
Mobile servicing
The original requirements specify an appropriately converted and inspected service vehicle with electrical installation, a workbench, scales, nitrogen filling equipment and tools. Equipment must be serviceable and scales and torque wrenches must hold valid calibration records.
Personnel, parts and procedures
At least one appropriately qualified person must be employed or contracted, with required further training. Original spare parts and the manufacturer’s service procedures must be used. The spare-parts catalogue and servicing instructions must be available.
Communication and supervision
Applications, orders, observations and documentation are sent to mistar@mistar.hr. Published conditions provide for supervision at least every two years. A period of at least 30 days is allowed for correcting identified nonconformities; failure to meet requirements may lead to withdrawal of authorisation.
Service-provider inspection fees
The last price list on the previous website is dated 17 April 2023: EUR 350 for a stationary workshop inspection and EUR 220 for a mobile workshop inspection, plus actual travel costs. These are not confirmed 2026 prices. Request a current quotation, tax details and travel charges before ordering.
